Dr. Stephanie Kramer-Schadt:
Stephanie Kramer-Schadt is conducting research at the IZW in which she uses GIS and spatial modeling. Her research interests are applied ecology and conservation, wildlife diseases and epidemiology. Mrs. Kramer-Schadt has expertise in combining spatially-explicit individual-based dynamic modeling and GIS techniques. She will assist us in modeling the spatial use of oryx populations in the Damaraland.
Karin Sörgel:
Karin Sörgel is the head technician of the Stable Isotope Laboratory at the IZW. Mrs. Sörgel is responsible for routine measurements of stable isotope ratios as well as the establishment of new methods in the lab. The lab is equipped with two Delta V Advantage Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers (Thermofisher) and respective peripherals for the measurement of δ13C, δ15N, δ18O and δD in bulk, gaseous or liquid samples (depending on the element).
